Repco Authorised Service Centre

8/31 Acanthus Street, Darra QLD

Authorised Hamer 4x4 dealer

4x4 accessory fitting, done properly the first time.

Bull bars, trays, canopies, dual battery systems, lights, winches and the rest. Fitted by the workshop that also does your suspension, your alignment and your servicing, so the whole vehicle gets accounted for.

Accessory fitting

Lights, winches, comms and storage

Driving lights, light bars, UHF radios and aerials, air compressors, winches, reversing cameras, fridge slides, drawers, roof racks and snorkels. Fitted, wired and fused properly, with the switches somewhere you can actually reach.

We will fit gear you bought elsewhere, and we will tell you before we start if what you bought is not up to the job.

Bar work

Bull bars, rock sliders and underbody protection

We are an authorised Hamer 4x4 dealer and we fit bull bars, front bars, rear bars and rock sliders across the common utes and wagons.

A steel bar adds 60 to 80 kilograms to the front axle. That changes how the front end sits and how the vehicle loads. We weigh the front after fitting and tell you honestly whether the springs need matching to it. Fitted at a retail counter, that never gets checked.

If the finished fitout pushes the vehicle over its legal weight, that is a GVM upgrade conversation, and we have it before you spend, not after.

Drop Bear Engineering

Our sister business handles the products and accessories side. If you are after gear to fit yourself, that is the place to start. If you want it fitted properly, you are already in the right place.

Every fitout finishes with the checks that matter: front weight after a bar, a wheel alignment after anything that changes ride height, and a look at the service history if the vehicle has not been in before.

Questions we get every week

Will you fit accessories I bought elsewhere?

Yes. We will tell you up front if what you bought is not suitable or not rated for the job, but we are not going to refuse the work.

Do I need a suspension upgrade after fitting a bull bar?

Often, yes. A steel bar adds 60 to 80 kilograms to the front axle. We weigh the front after fitting and tell you honestly whether the springs need matching. If the total load is the issue, see GVM upgrades.

Can you wire in lights, a UHF and a fridge in one visit?

Yes. Doing the 12V work in one go means one set of cable runs, properly fused and hidden. If you are adding a second battery, plan it with the dual battery fitout at the same time.

Will accessories push me over my GVM?

They can. Bull bar, canopy, drawers, water and a second battery add up fast on a dual cab. We weigh the risk before you commit and recommend a GVM upgrade only if the numbers say you need one.

Which bull bar brands do you fit?

We are an authorised Hamer 4x4 dealer and fit the range in house, along with Bodyline canopies and protection. See all the brands we stock.
